Four Vegas Strip Casinos to Visit

The Vegas Strip is an area of Las Vegas bordered by Sahara Avenue on the north and Russell Road at the southern end. There are a number of hotel casinos on the Vegas Strip, and each one has something different to offer. There are also casinos that are not on the Vegas Strip, so there is quite a lot of selection. Here are some casinos that are worth checking out when you’re in Las Vegas.

  1. Circus Circus – Circus Circus is near the northernmost part of the Vegas Strip, and it’s a great place to take kids. In addition to the regular casino offerings, Circus Circus offers circus shows all day long. They also have a full indoor amusement park called the Adventuredome. The Adventuredome offers everything from kiddie rides and carousels to a double-looping roller coaster. There is also a laser tag arena, a rock climbing wall, and a mini-golf course. In addition to the children’s amenities, the Circus Circus offers three swimming pools, and is home to the Chapel of the Fountain wedding chapel.
  2. Wynn Las Vegas – The Wynn is considered one of the finest resort hotels in the world. It is rated five diamonds by AAA and five stars by several other raters. For automobile enthusiasts, the Wynn hosts the Penske-Wynn Ferrarri-Maserati dealership, where luxury cars both new and used can be purchased. There is a waterfall show called the Lake of Dreams. Wynn has three different night clubs, called Tryst, XS, and Blush. There are eleven different restaurants serving an array of foods including French, Japanese, Chinese, and American. Golfers should note that Wynn has the only full golf course on the Vegas Strip.
  3. Casino Royale – Royalty wouldn’t really play here, nor would Daniel Craig (James Bond). Casino Royale is actually a spot for low-rollers. If you’re looking for a craps table where you’re doing well with five dollar bets, Casino Royale is a great place to go. Casino Royale has a motel, rather than a fancy resort hotel, so if you’re looking for a spot on the strip that won’t cost you a boatload and you’re not looking to spend a lot on the casino floor, this is a great option.
  4. Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino – Planet Hollywood has a lot of attractions for those looking for a fun vacation. The mezzanine overlooks the casino floor and has sofas where guests can just hang out, as well as a small area with a basketball hoop where guests can play. The Planet Hollywood Showroom on the mezzanine has live shows including a live version of “America’s Got Talent” hosted by Jerry Springer. There is a spa and a wedding chapel. On the sixth floor, there are two pools and two hot tubs.
